Performance Food: PUMPKIN fuels your brain, heart and more!

Pumpkin fuels your brain, blood, eyes, heart, lungs, mouth/teeth, nose (smell), and skin!  Now this does not give you the license to eat lots of pumpkin pie.  Pumpkin is a squash and is delicous as a soup, puree, baked and in other squash related recipes.  The smaller pumpkins, not the miniatures, are easy to prepare.  Season them with ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon and other spice combinations.  Add some butter and even some 100% maple syrup on occasion.  As are all squashes, pumpkin is easy on your pocket book so put it on your grocery list and enjoy!
