Instructions

  1. 1 frozen banana

Place your fresh banana in the freezer for at least a couple of hours, peel and all. The peel will turn black, but it does not affect the taste or quality of the banana.
  2. 2 Tbsp Organic Lightly Roasted Almond Butter, by Artisana

  3. 6 oz vanilla Greek yogurt, organic if possible

  4. 1/4 cup skim or low fat milk, organic if possible

Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Ready to serve.

Options

If it is not sweet enough for your taste buds you may add 1 tsp of raw honey. Also for some added taste add a dash of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice. If you wish to increase fiber content add ground flax seeds or 2-3 Tbsp rolled oats!  Substitute unsweetened rice or almond milk for cow's milk if you wish.

Grocery List

  • Banana
  • Lightly Roasted Almond Butter, Organic by Artisana
