1-2 depending on ages
1 banana, ripe
Peel and cut in half, lengthwise. Place each half in bowl, side by side, facing each other.1 cup yogurt, vanilla or plain (organic if possible)
1/4 cup blueberries, fresh, washed
1/4 cup strawberries, fresh, washed
1/4 cup diced fresh pineapple or frozen, thawed
1/4 cup walnuts, pecans or almonds, finely chopped or ground
Spread yogurt across both sides of banana halves. Sprinkle berries and pineapple over yogurt. Top with nuts. Serve.
Add any other chopped fresh fruit and/or nuts of choice. Use your family's favorite flavor of yogurt. Use Greek yogurt for more protein and a thicker texture. Top with shredded coconut. If your kids won't go for the nuts listed, try peanuts or cashews instead.
