Instructions

  1. 3 cups water

  2. 1/2 tsp salt

    Bring 3 cups water and 1/2 tsp salt to a boil.
  3. 1 cup brown rice farina hot cereal

    Add 1 cup brown rice farina cereal and turn heat down to medium. Cook for about 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Don't overcook.
  4. 1 tsp Wholesome Sweeteners Cinnamon Flavored Agave Syrup

    Drizzle over warm cereal.
  5. Cinnamon

    Add a sprinkle of cinnamon just before serving. Serve warm.

Options

Add fresh or dried fruit and nuts for a more complete breakfast item.  For creamier cereal Laurie suggests substituting milk or other milk substitute such as unsweetened soy milk, unsweetened almond milk or unsweetened coconut milk instead of water. Also by adding more or less liquid you can make these cereal thicker or thinner. You can control the sweetness with how much agave syrup you want to use.
