Talk about fall apart in your mouth delicious! The Kid Kritics ate two and three helpings. Boneless turkey breast cooks beautifully in a crockpot. You could even put a small turkey roast in a large one, however, you would have to deal with the bones. This way, you have just the meat with an array of nutrient-packed vegetables. Seven naturally sourced colors represent a powerhouse of antioxidants - great for cold and flu season. A simple meal-in-one. Enjoy it with your family.
Crockpot, low heat
Large crockpot, cutting board, knife
10 minutes
8-10 hours
4-6 or more, depending on ages
Boneless Turkey Breast Roast, Plainville Farms
Take out of bag, rinse and pat dry. Place into crockpot.1 garlic clove, cut in half
Rub turkey breast with flat side of garlic the add it to the crockpot.1 Tbs. extra virgin olive oil
Rub olive oil over top of turkey.1/2 tsp. curry powder
1/2 tsp. paprika
Sprinkle curry powder and paprika on top.1 onion, chopped
6 more garlic cloves, chopped
4 carrots, chopped
4 stalks celery, chopped
3 small green apples, sliced
8 sprigs fresh parsley
Add these ingredients on top and around turkey breast in crockpot.1/2 cup chicken broth
Pour into crockpot, along the sides, not over turkey. Place lid on top. Cook slowly and it will be ready when you come home from work or running errands. Serve. The turkey will melt in your mouth!
Add sweet potatoes and rosemary. To cook it quicker, just add turkey with seasoning, onions, garlic and chicken broth and cook on high heat for three hours. Then add rest of vegetables for one more hour.
