Identifying healthier foods that your family deserves,
and your kids will love!
“Yumm - delicious, can I have more? Will you put it in my lunch? The popcorn is good.” “We have a gluten intolerance in our family, so this was a great allergen free treat when made with the brands above for everyone in our house to enjoy. This is a mix we like to make sometimes for lunches, we created it just using snacks the kids like and have on hand” (Kimberly, mother of 3)
Freezer bag, mixing bowl
3 minutes
6-8 or more depending on ages
1 cup dried cranberries (watch out for artificial flavors & high fructose corn syrup)
1 cup raw whole almonds
2 cups Half Naked Popcorn, Good Health Natural Foods
2 cups mini pretzels
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Mix together in a one gallon freezer bag, close the bag and shake gently to mix. Pour in a bowl or favorite container and enjoy!
Try adding a sprinkle of cinnamon! Kimberly uses Enjoy Life brand chocolate chips, and Glutino or Ener-G brand pretzels, which are gluten free. If there is no gluten intolerance, try spelt pretzels. Dried blueberries or organic raisins can substitute for dried cranberries.
