6-8 or more depending on ages
1 1/2 cups Gluten Free Mini Pretzels by Snyder's of Hanover
2 cups sliced or slivered almonds
1 cup dried fruit (try a mixture of your favorites!)
In a mixing bowl combine pretzels, almonds and dried fruit.1 Tbsp butter (organic if possible)
Coat baking dish with butter, then evenly distibute pretzel mixture in bottom of pan.2 Tbsp butter
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter, organic
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add peanut butter and stir to soften as it heats up.1 tsp gluten free vanilla extract
3 Tbs gluten free flour or baking mix
2 Tbps honey
Stir in honey and vanilla. Add flour. Stir until smooth. While still hot, pour over the pretzel mixture and stir quickly to coat. Bake 15-20 minutes. Allow to cool and then serve!
Use your family's favorite nuts or seeds instead of almonds. Replace butter with coconut oil or coconut butter. Try almond butter or sunflower butter instead of peanut butter. You can also add coconut flakes or a dash of cinnamon.
