Equipment

Mixing bowl or resealable container

Prep Time

5-10 minutes

Number of Servings

1-2 or more depending on ages

Instructions

  1. 1/2 cup apple, cubed (organic is best!)

  2. 2 Tablespoons ranch dressing **

    Add apples and dressing to a resealable container or bowl. Toss to coat.
  3. 1/4 cup red seedless grapes (organic is best!)

  4. 2 cups salad greens, torn into bite-sized pieces

  5. 1/4 cup Cabot Sharp Light Cheddar Minis, cubed

    Layer on top of apples. Toss before serving. Serve cold.

Options

Add chopped walnuts or almonds.  Add leftover chicken or turkey for extra protein.

** Watch out for high sodium and artificial ingredients in salad dressing.  See our KKA Grocery List for recommended brands.
