Honey Bunny Snack Bars     Print this Recipe

Large saucepan, mixing bowl, 9x13 pan

Prep Time

15 minutes

Number of Servings

8 to 10 people depending on ages

Instructions

  1. 1/2 cup of honey or agave nectar

  2. 1/2 cup peanut butter

    Heat honey (or agave nectar) in large saucepan to low boil and stir in peanut butter until melted. Remove from heat.
  3. 6 cups Honey Bunny O's Cereal by Annie's Homegrown

  4. 1/4 cup raisins

  5. 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

    Add the cereal, raisins and chocolate chips to the mixture and blend thoroughly. Press into lightly greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Allow it to cool before cutting into squares.

Options

Use any dried fruit instead of raisins. You may also add nuts or seeds instead of the chocolate chips.  Substitute your family's favorite nut butter.
