1 box of Classic Mac & Cheese, by Annie's Homegrown
Boil about 6 cups of water and add the box of mac & cheese, only cook for about 5-7 minutes then drain. Pasta should be cooked but not too soft since it will continue to cook in the oven later on. The cheese packet in the box should be mixed according to box instructions but in a separate bowl.5 slices of deli turkey (additive-free)
Cut them into small squares and add to the drained pasta.1 egg
1/4 tsp of paprika
Mix the egg and paprika into the cheese sauce mixture. Now add the pasta and turkey. Mix well with large spoon.1 Tbs unsalted butter
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Lightly coat the muffin cups with unsalted butter then the parmesan cheese. Add a scoop of the mac and cheese mix to each muffin cup. Place in oven and bake for 15 minutes or until golden. To remove them from cup use small spoon or butter knife. Ready to eat!
For a veggie option take out the turkey and add carrots and peas. You can also add ground turkey or beef for a dinner option. Try using baking cups. Sprinkle with parsley for a bit of green color and extra nutrients or add oregano for a pizza-like taste! Use Annie's Shells & White Cheddar for a change - it's also Kid Kritics Approved.
