375 degrees Fahrenheit, medium heat for saute pan
Saute pan, mixing bowl, baking dish, grater or food processor, cutting board
About 15 minutes
5-10 minutes for onion, 40 minutes for meatloaf

1 Tbs. olive oil
Heat saute pan over medium heat and add olive oil.1 red onion, peeled and finely chopped.
Add to saute pan and cook for 5 to 10 minutes or until soft.1 carrot, large, grated
Add to pan after onion is cooked, stir and place in bowl to cool.1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg, large, free-range
1/3 cup tomato paste
2 Tbs. Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp. thyme, dried
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Add to cooled veggies in bowl. With clean hands, mix well.1 lb turkey, ground (such as Plainville Farms or Shelton's)
Add to bowl and mix all ingredients well. Place on baking sheet then pat and mold into a long oval shape. Place in oven and bake for 40 minutes. Test for doneness by poking the thickest part with a knife to see if juices run clear.
Use food processor to chop onions and grate carrots. Try ground beef, chicken, buffalo, or lamb instead of turkey. Replace breadcrumbs with rolled oats.
