Burner, medium temperature
Saucepan, medium size, strainer

3-5, depending on ages
1 (15 oz.) bag peas, frozen
Bring water in saucepan to a boil. Pour peas into pan and turn off heat. Let stand on stove for three minutes. Strain peas and return to pan.1 tsp. butter (unsalted, organic if possible) or Earth Balance spread
Melt in saucepan with peas, stirring.2 tsp. minced fresh mint leaves or 1 tsp. dried
Add to peas. Stir and serve warm.
Add a pinch of sea salt.
