Saucepan, medium size, strainer

3-5, depending on ages

Instructions

  1. 1 (15 oz.) bag peas, frozen

    Bring water in saucepan to a boil. Pour peas into pan and turn off heat. Let stand on stove for three minutes. Strain peas and return to pan.
  2. 1 tsp. butter (unsalted, organic if possible) or Earth Balance spread

    Melt in saucepan with peas, stirring.
  3. 2 tsp. minced fresh mint leaves or 1 tsp. dried

    Add to peas. Stir and serve warm.

Options

Add a pinch of sea salt.
