Blender
5 minutes
1 to 2, depending on ages
1/2 cup spring water (suggested: Iceland Spring)
1/2 cup 100% apple juice, organic if possible
1 Tbsp whey protein powder (no artificial ingredients)
Combine and blend in blender until smooth.1/2 cup blueberries, fresh
1 cup banana, cut into pieces
Add to blender. Mix at high speed until smooth. Add more liquid to thin if needed. Serve.
Use frozen blueberries and/or strawberries in place of fresh blueberries. Use egg or rice based protein powder. Use greens powder instead of protein powder. Try adding seedless black cherries, 1/4 tsp 100% vanilla extract, or 1/4 applesauce. Use orange juice instead of apple juice.
