"Perfect treat for the Fall season! And no need to feel guilty since it's good for you."
This fruit dip tastes like pumpkin pie, but is much healthier. Packed with protein, it is a quick snack or a filling way to start your day. For kids, we think it's best served as a dip or parfait, but if you love all things pumpkin, you may just want to eat it with a spoon!
Mixing bowl
5 minutes
3 or more, depending on ages and serving method
1 cup Greek yogurt, vanilla (organic, if possible)
1/2 cup pumpkin puree, fresh cooked or canned
1/2 package Fruit Dip Mix, by Simply Organic
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate a few hours or overnight. Serve chilled with fruit slices for dipping - apples work great. You can even serve some cookies or organic graham crackers to dip in it for a treat. Or layer with granola, sliced fruit, and nuts for a parfait presentation.Optional: 1-2 Tbs Raw Honey, by Wholesome Sweeteners
If you would like the dip to have a bit more sweetness, add a bit of honey!
Add extra pumpkin ... Sandy makes it with 1 cup pumpkin puree! Add an extra pinch of cinnamon (there's some in the Fruit Dip Mix already).
