1 bottle beer
1 cup waterPour into saucepan and bring to a boil., Don't worry, the alcohol burns off while boiling. Turn heat high enough for the liquids to boil.
5 Uncured Chicken Franks, Shelton's PoultryPlace gently into boiling liquids. Adjust burner temperature if necessary. Make sure they are mostly submerged. If not, add more water. Boil until heated throughout. For best taste, cook on grill for an additional 3-5 minutes, turning over half way through.
5 whole grain buns
Romaine lettuce, 3-5 small leavesRinse lettuce and pat dry. Add to buns. Top with chicken franks.
2-3 slices cheese, white
10-15 tomato slicesAdd to buns.
Condiments of choiceAdd your family's favorite condiments - mustard, organic ketchup, BBQ sauce, chili, etc ... serve warm!
Replace beer with chicken or vegetable broth as desired. Use shredded cheese and diced tomatoes. Add diced onions or chives. Grilling at the end adds great flavor, but this step is not necessary - especially in a time crunch. They will still taste delicious!
