"My son really liked the dip when it was nice and cold from the fridge. The mild taste of the bean dip went nicely with the Cheese Curls." by Melody
Food processor
15 minutes
10 to 12 depending on ages
1 can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
1 clove garlic
3 Tbsp lime juice, fresh squeezed
2 Tbs extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup loosely packed fresh parsley
1/2 tsp sea salt
Place all ingredients in food processor and blend until creamy - no lumps! You may need to scrape down the sides periodically. Cover and place dip in the fridge for about 30 minutes before serving. This gives time for the flavors to permeate.Sprinkle of paprika
Sprinkle paprika on top of dip before serving.Small bowl of Whole Grain Cheese Curls, White Cheddar Cheese (by EatSmart Naturals)
Serve with Cheese Curls for dipping!
You can use this dip with just about anything! Try it with pretzels and chopped veggies as well. Use lemon juice instead of lime juice. If your kids shy away from garlic, use roasted rather than raw garlic for a milder flavor. Add a drizzle of olive oil just before serving if you'd like ... Melody likes to blend in 2 extra Tablespoons.
