Saucepan and wooden spoon

4 (or more depending on ages)
2 cups water
1 cup coconut milk
Cook water and coconut milk on stove until it begins to boil.1 cup steel cut oats
1 tsp vanilla extract
Add steel cut oats and vanilla. Return to a boil. Lower temperature. Simmer and cover for about 10 minutes.1 cup frozen mixed berries
Add frozen berries (No need to defrost them). Cook for 10-20 minutes longer, covered until liquid is absorbed into oats to liking.

Drizzle raw honey or real maple syrup on top.
